The extra 3" add on option is only meant to be purchased if you wish to make your belt longer. For example: The standard bullet belt is approx. 30" around and if you need the belt longer, that's when you would select the option to add on an extra 3". The extra 3" will get you approx. 6 bullets, totaling 3" in length. This is not the belt itself.
